Dear Wealth Creator, Ours is an ever changing world. The people who stay ahead are those that can absorb our culture and second guess what might be coming next. Look at Bill Gates as the prime example. In an era when nobody thought that personal computers would catch on (seems ridiculous now, doesn't it?), our Bill held on to the rights for DOS - still the standard disk operating system. But not only that, he has consistently stayed ahead of the competition developing new user software. Thousands of others have fallen by the wayside while Windows reigns supreme. This has been no accident - nothing short of a series of conscious decisions to 'look forward' and see what's coming. My own empire is based on the written word. I know that I too will have to stay ahead by moving into audio visual and new media. It's up to me to imagine how my customers will want my business delivered in the future - and it may not be using a technology currently available! Plus, over the last five years I have consistently tried new business ventures - either to leverage my products into new markets or try different kinds of businesses - not all successfully: but that's all part of the game. To stay ahead you need to experiment. Try new things, new techniques, new ventures. The true secret to wealth is to develop multiple streams of income - and not to become too reliant on an income source that may not pan out in the long term. This is why wealthy people have diverse investments, savings plans, property portfolios, fingers in all kinds of pies - not because they don't know what to do with all that money, but because that's how they ensure they don't lose it all! So, don't be afraid to experiment - even if it just means finding out about wealth creating systems, even get rich quick ideas - there's an element of truth in all of them. The trick is to learn all you can. You can never know too much and you'd be surprised how much seemingly useless information can become supremely relevant later on in your prosperous life.
