Dear Wealth Creator, When it comes to sustaining a successful life, there will no doubt be times when you come across detractors and / or events which seem insurmountable. It's imperative at these times to be able to fall back on your own integrity - your own sense of what is right and what is wrong. There are many small minded people out there that regard any kind of wealth as immoral - and even regard rich people as somehow evil. This being the case you won't be surprised to learn that when you become financially successful, especially when you appear to have done it through your own ingenuity, you make enemies. You cannot let these people get under your skin - however tempting it may be! If you've been lucky along the way, you'll have good friends and a great and supportive partner. Without them then setbacks - even if only emotional ones - can be hard to bear. Relying on your own mettle is a great test of character. Things like getting sued, being slandered and receiving hate mail - sorry to put a downer on things - goes with the territory when you're rich. It'll be up to you to deal with it, if and when it happens. You will need reserves of principles that you live by. You will need to hold integrity high in your business dealings. You will need to live a moral life. Anyone who's been in public life and had skeletons fall out of the closet will know this is true. When you're rich, you become a target. Don't give anyone ammunition. Be focussed on wealth sure - but also, be a good person. When things get tough, you'll always be able to fall back on that. Or, when all else fails, do what most rich people are forced to do at some point: get a good lawyer! Look in your email inbox tomorrow to
